Somalisa Camp
Somalisa Camp is nestled beneath the dappled shade of an Acacia grove in the Hwange National Park. Skirting the edge of an ancient seasonal floodplain, this intimate bush camp offers breathtaking
views of the park’s rolling savannahs.
The camp’s main deck overlooks an elephant pool where
elephant families frequently come to drink, these visits make for magnificent up close elephant encounters and unforgettable sundowners after a day filled with game drives, nature walks and birding excursions.
The camp is elegantly decorated, drawing inspiration from its natural surrounds and adding tasteful modern touches to create an authentic African feel. Luxuriously appointed sailcloth tents, complete with indoor and outdoor bathrooms, wood-burning fireplaces and private viewing decks offer guests an incredible safari experience. Somalisa Camp also prides itself on the eco-friendliness of the camp and boasts a full solar power farm and a water purification system that allows it to recycle 80% of the water used at the camp.
