Okaukuejo Camp

Okaukuejo Camp is located in the south of Etosha National Park and is famous for its floodlit waterholes where animals congregate in vast numbers to drink. Originally a military outpost founded in 1901 the camp’s characteristic stone tower was added in 1963.

The camp offers various facilities including a shop, petrol station and restaurant. There is also a swimming pool for guests to
cool off and relax near while they enjoy a drink from the fully stocked bar.

The camp offers comfortable accommodation in one of the most iconic regions of the Etosha National Park. The waterhole provides wonderful game sightings with animals gathering from early morning until well into the night when spotlights highlight night time activity. In particular you might have the opportunity to spot the shy black rhino as they come to drink at night.
