Camp Kalahari

Located on Brown Hyena Island in the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans Nature Reserve, Camp Kalahari is made up of Meru-style tents nestled among the palms and Acacia trees. You will love the traditional safari feel of the tents, which are tastefully decorated and include en suite bathrooms.

The camp is ideal for families, with a wide array of activities to choose from, including quad bike and horseback rides, game drives and Bushmen walks, as well as a dedicated family suite and fenced in perimeter. In the dry season you can enjoy lazy afternoons in the pool and be thrilled by a once in a lifetime experience as the elephants come to drink. The camp is also home to a group of habituated meerkats who make for endless entertainment with their playful antics.
